February Art School (Age 11 – 16yrs)

Back for 2025 by popular demand!

Be inspired by the artwork on display and try out new ideas supported by our team of artist educators. Whether you want to relax, take time out, polish up your skills or develop your portfolio this class will give you the time and techniques that you need. This half term our projects will be:

MON 17 FEB: SKETCHBOOKS UNLOCKED

Explore different ways to develop and enjoy your sketchbook using the artwork on display for inspiration using a range of materials and techniques. Feel free to bring your own sketchbooks or fill a mini one you make with us.

TUES 18 FEB: PLAY WITH PASTELS

Work from a range of different starting points to create some stunning pieces with guidance and support from our team. We will spend the morning in the gallery sketching and exploring different media (oil pastels and chalk pastels) before focusing on a more developed piece in the afternoon.

Please bring a packed lunch. You will need an adult to sign you in on your first day, or for them to provide emergency contact information in advance.

CANCELLATIONS

In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
