Firebrand Theatre Company 'A Room of One's Own' @ Melrose Corn Exchange

Details

Firebrand Theatre Company with Live Borders Arts & Creativity and Duns Playfest presents ‘A Room of One’s Own’ – adapted from the writings of Virginia Woolf

After its recent critical and popular success with Nan Shepherd: Naked & Unashamed, award-winning Firebrand Theatre Company is thrilled to make its debut at Melrose Corn Exchange with its new and ambitious adaptation of A Room of One’s Own. Performed in the round by Ellie Zeegen and directed by Richard Baron, this inventive one woman show engagingly showcases why Virginia Woolf’s brilliant, funny and richly entertaining exploration of freedom and identity, written almost one hundred years ago, has become one of the most significant feminist manifestos of its time, and any time.
