Whether it’s Dancing Queen or Killer Queen or something from Six, solos or in groups, it really doesn’t matter. All that counts is that you come along and have some fun! Open to Stage 84 students who attend our Purples and Blacks classes, this event is being run following the success of our Open Mic night in Edinburgh. Our tuck shop will also be open to purchase drinks and snacks. Tickets are available to purchase on the door.
The Friends of Stage 84 are raising money to support Stage 84, The Yorkshire School of Performing Arts and purchase new equipment, such as new stage lighting equipment for The Old Bell Chapel. This will be used at future fundraising/community events, Stage 84 summer schools, and other various events facilitated throughout the year. In addition, this year we are raising money for our chosen charity, One In A Million. OIAM is a Bradford based charity, co-founded by former Bradford City footballer Wayne Jacobs, that engages with children and young people living predominantly in disadvantaged communities in the 5 constituencies of Bradford, through Sports, Arts and Enterprise programmes and pathways. 10% of the proceeds raised by the Friends of Stage 84 this year will be donated to the One In A Million charity. By being a part of one or more of our events in the coming months, you will be helping to support these wonderful causes.
