Frigg with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra

Finnish folk supremos Frigg have captivated audiences worldwide with their groundbreaking fusion of Nordic folk music and various Western folk styles. Renowned for their collective virtuosity and a jaw-dropping, quicksilver precision and tightly woven harmonies, the group return to Celtic Connections at the start of their 25th anniversary celebrations.

Featuring the crème de la crème of a generation of Finnish folk musicians, Frigg’s signature interplay between violins, with mandolin, cittern, guitar and double bass, is spiced with a sparkling, high-energy show and enthralling catalogue that has earned them no less than three Songlines’ Top of the World accolades.
