Fused Glass Mosaics for Children

Join local glass artist, Rachael Durkan from The Glass Cabin for a fused glass workshop designed specifically for younger crafters aged 8+. No previous experience is required.

Your child will create a mosaic-style fused glass suncatcher using a variety of pre-cut coloured glass shapes and accessories. No cutting is required. There are plenty of templates to choose from, or they can make their own unique design on a 10cm square or egg-shaped piece of flat glass. These glass decorations will last for ever without losing any of their beautiful colour and shine. 


Choose a start time of 9.30am or 11.30am. Workshops last an hour and a half. Please note, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on at all times on site. Tea, coffee & squash will be provided during the introduction and is included in the ticket price. Numbers are limited to 8 participants per session. NB. Rachael will take the finished pieces away to be fused in her kiln. They will be available for collection from The Barn or from Rachael directly a couple of weeks after the workshop.
