Gallery Tour with Artist Michael Walton

Join artist Michael Walton in the exhibition Through Line and hear him discuss his working practice. Flow I and Flow II are early works by Walton, where the object became an icon for the painting, dealing with pure form. They are part of a series of works produced in the 1960s and 1970s, when he was greatly influenced by the ideas of The Bauhaus, Marcel Duchamp (whom he met) and Jorge Luis Borges. Meet at the City Art Centre reception at 2pm. Tour is free with price of exhibition ticket.
