GOLDFINCHES

Bristol-based quartet (previously knoiwn as Shozzo) comprising songwriter Shaun McCrindle (guitar & vocal), John Slattery on bouzouki & guitar, James Anderson on double-bass, and violinist Paul Meager. Their diverse music could be described as alternative or New Wave folk music. Shaun has been writing songs in Bristol bands for over 30 years and has recorded many albums, and has been described as Bristol's very own Jonathan Richman (Venue magazine). The band's debut album, Shanti Time, was recorded last summer in a country house in Devon and is due for release in the Spring of 2025. Facebook@UKGoldfinches
