Guillermo Hill Quartet

The Guillermo Hill Quartet will play tunes from their new album Landing, mainly influenced by contemporary and traditional Instrumental music from South America, in particular from his native Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. Their style of music is upbeat and influenced by legendary 70's bands such as Opa, Azimuth and the Candombe Rhythm.

Guillermo Hill started playing guitar in his native Montevideo, Uruguay, where he played with artists like Fernando Cabrera, Mariana Ingold and legendary drummer Osvaldo Fattoruso.

Guillermo has played and/or recorded with artists like Mica Paris, Tom Jones, Ola Onabule, Bansangu orchestra, Monica Vasconcelos, John Crawford, Jandira Silva, Anita Wardell, Tony Allen, Jennifer Lopez and master Brazilian drummer Airto Moreira.
