Regarded by many theatre professionals as the finest musical ever created, Gypsy is the ultimate tale of an ambitious stage mother fighting for her daughters’ success – while secretly yearning for her own. Set all across America in the early 20th century, Gypsy dives deep into the world of vaudeville showcasing the struggles of life as a performer.

Domineering, stage mother Rose who has grown up with dreams of stardom devotes her life to making her daughters, June, and Louise into stars. As her daughters age, their act does not. Over time, Rose discovers the rise in burlesque encouraging Louise to take part, in doing so, Lousie becomes the famous Gypsy Rose Lee causing jealousy to arise in Rose.
