Heritage Garden Group Apple Walk

The Heritage Garden Group began by organising an initiative to transform the barren space between the medical centre and Poynton Library into an attractive garden space which celebrated Poynton. This opened in 2018, and since then the group have made it their mission to better the town with their green fingers.

This walking tour takes visitors around the 12 community orchards which the group planted for the community, covering a large portion of the town. You'll hear about the work the group do with their passionate volunteers and see it for yourself.

This walk is strenuous and will last two hours. Please wear suitable footwear and come prepared.
