Horace Andy is one of the most distinctive vocalists in Reggae. Since debuting on the Studio One label in 1970, through to appearing on all five Massive Attack albums, Horace Andy has become one of the world’s most well known singers. 1972 saw him release the Skylarking album on Studio One. The title track of the album has become one of his most enduring and well loved songs. Further singles, followed such as ´´Natty Dread a Weh She Want”, ´´Ain’t No Sunshine”, ´´Spying Glass”, ´´Jusy Sayt Who” and ´´You are my Angel” – cementing his reputation. His 1978 album Pure Ranking anticipated the rise of Dancehall and he was a key figure in the development of the genre confirmed by 1982’s Dancehall Style album. In 1990, Horace Andy contributed to the debut album of Massive Attack. He has become the only person to guest on all five of their albums and regularly tours the world with the band.
