Ian Prowse live! Ian Prowse is a Singer/Songwriter, the frontman of Amsterdam and previously of Pele. Ian delivered 40 online shows free of charge during the pandemic after the Elvis Costello tour he was supporting was a victim of the pandemic cancellations. Pele supported The Pogues and Del Amitri on UK tours and with Amsterdam had John Peel weeping live on air when he played the classic Does This Train Stop On Merseyside, which was covered by legend Christy Moore and taken to Number 1 in the Irish LP charts. Often referred to as the Scouse Springsteen, Ian's live show has wowed them at Reading, Glastonbury and other festivals and he can count Jean Jaques Burnel, the late Janice Long, Gary Crowley, Mick Jones and Chris Addison in his fan club.
