Indie/rock/original night at Hallgate Tavern for Springfest 2025 So Music HQ Presents are back again for another Springboard/Springfest live music festival at our favourite Cottingham pub, the rather wonderful Hallgate Tavern. Friday night is our usual more indie/rock leaning night of the festival and this year we have another cracking line up for you: Mark Martindale - acoustic singer songwriter playing a solo set, usually seen running his own open mic gig every Sunday afternoon at Cherry's in Hull City Centre as well popping up at other people's gigs across the city. Americana influenced originals and classy covers. Exposed - quality pop rock originals & a few choice covers, these guys are brilliant either playing as a full band or stripped back acoustic set. Not to be missed. Lyford - original indie rock band heavily influenced by the classic indie guitar sound of the 90s The Stance - indie-rock band from East Yorkshire, playing a set of mainly their own original material on the Friday night we always look forward to seeing them at a Music HQ gig The Motif - Hull 4 piece band playing a variety of genres from punk to indie and all thats in between, featuring some very recognisable faces from the Hull & East Yorks music scene they will certainly finish off the first night of the festival in fine style for us.
