Details

Performing in her native London since the age of 14 - and taking inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Sufjan Stevens and Esperanza Spalding - singer/songwriter Rosie Alena has been gracing stages ever since with her eclectic compositions and goosebump-inducing vocal capabilities. Spotted by lauded producer Oli Barton-Wood at a show in Peckham, the pair decamped to his studio to create Rosie’s first full body of work - debut mini-album Pixelated Images, released in 2022 via Untitled (Recs) (Jerskin Fendrix, Deathcrash, Water Baby).

Following press backing from the likes of Clash, The Line of Best Fit, DIY, So Young, Wax Music BBC 6 Music (Guy Garvey) and BBC Introducing (Jess Iszatt) - Rosie embarked on a series of illustrious support tours with Olivia Dean, Indigo De Souza, Katy J Pearson, and, most notably Alex Cameron across 17 European dates. Performing at Glastonbury Festival, Aleste (Madeira), MIL (Lisbon) and How The Light Gets In, as a member of London folk ‘supergroup’ Broadside Hacks she has also appeared at Green Man and Latitude.

OMAM DAWN

Omam Dawn transports listeners to ethereal dreamscapes of blind birds, speaking dolphins, and darker corners of cemeteries and unrequited love. Inspired by the sea and her childhood affinity with animals, her songs evoke a natural essence of what it means to be human. Back in 2023, Morocco Bound listed her as one of the best live acts to see!

Presented by Morocco Bound.
