Jack Gibbons' Christmas Concert

The acclaimed pianist Jack Gibbons makes a rare Christmas visit to Oxford from the United States, to give a special concert in celebration of Christmas and the winter solstice. The programme includes Gibbons' virtuoso piano arrangements of Tchaikovskys Nutcracker Suite, Winter from Vivaldis Four Seasons, the Pastorale from Corellis Christmas Concerto, plus Schubert's Ave Maria (arranged Liszt) and more seasonal works by Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Debussy and Gibbons.
