Jamie Taylor Quartet

One of the UK's most respected jazz guitarists, Jamie Taylor's swinging, lyrical playing has seen him perform at legendary London venues such as Ronnie Scott's, The Vortex, and The Troubadour, and many other jazz clubs across the country and beyond. Along the way, he has been privileged to work with numerous top-flight jazz musicians from Europe and the USA.

Here, Jamie leads a special quartet whose members will need no introduction to the Wakefield audience, all of them being much admired bandleaders in their own right, and having likewise worked with a long list of star names from both sides of the Atlantic. (Bill Frisell, Peter King, John Etheridge etc.)

Expect a relaxed and convivial evening, during which the quartet will play much-loved selections from the jazz repertoire, in a style reminiscent of Art Farmer's collaborations with Jim Hall.
