An evening of progressive/experimental/alternative rock featuring 3 new and exciting bands from the Leeds scene. Janata Janata are a three-piece outfit inspired by progressive rock, often combining catchy guitar riffs and vocal melodies with chaotic and abrasive musical passages. Their primary influences include King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Yes, and King Crimson. Resonance Cascade A two-piece turned three-piece instrumental band inspired by the likes of Feed Me Jack and Delta Sleep. Coming deep from within the dingy, disgusting depths of the drummer's bedroom, the twins' jams that blend math rock and indie are sure to sound like nothing you've not heard before Blessed Relief Blessed Relief are a quartet from Leeds, focused on introducing jazz influences into rock. They emphasise the improvisatory aspect of the music whilst drawing from a range of old and new experimental rock influences, such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, CAN, and Nektar, with a dose of post-punk from bands such as Leeds own Gang Of Four.
