A costumed walk around the picturesque riverside village of Bursledon, near Southampton, to celebrate the Austen family’s naval links, including the ship building yard that produced HMS Elephant, whose notable captains include Admiral Lord Nelson and Frank Austen, Jane's brother, and Brooklands - the home of Admiral Thomas Williams, husband of Jane Austen’s cousin, Jane Cooper.

Meet at the far end of Bursledon Station carpark Bring appropriate clothing and footwear Tickets MUST be booked in advance Minimum number for walk to commence is 4 Walk lasts approximately 90-120 minutes Some of the paths on this walk are steep, or with steps, so may not be suitable for the less able.
