John O’Groats Mill Family Friendly Sketching Tour with Tamara Hicks

Join artist Tamara Hicks for a fun and creative Sketching Tour, designed especially for families and young artists! This special session introduces children and adults alike to the joy of sketching and exploring architecture in a relaxed and engaging way. Together, we’ll discover the shapes, textures, and stories behind some of John O’Groats’ most iconic locations, including the mill, the harbour and the famous signpost. With guidance from Tamara, families will be encouraged to observe, draw, and experiment with different artistic techniques—no prior experience needed! This interactive session is perfect for young artists and curious minds who want to learn more about their surroundings through creativity. All materials will be provided, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Spaces are free but must be booked in advance. Please note: 1 ticket covers 1 adult + 1 child (recommended for ages 6+) Please meet at the John O’Groats sign and dress for the Caithness weather!
