Jonathan Gee Quartet featuring Denys Baptiste

Pianist and singer Jonathan Gee brings his allstar band to Watermill Jazz, featuring sax master Denys Baptiste and combining three aspects of his music in one show.

This concert will include music from Jonathan’s Beatles Reimagined album of Lennon/McCartney songs transformed into a contemporary jazz style plus rearranged classics from the 80’s, including music from Spandau Ballet and Kate Bush and Wayne Shorter and Michael Brecker pieces from the same era. Also, Jonathan presents some of his own compositions including music from his latest vocal album The Lions Revisited .
