Kai Reesu with Laundry Room and Subtopian Planning Board

Blending elements of hip hop, neo-soul, psychedelic rock and old skool fusion, with a core rhythm section and a revolving door of other luminaries of the Scottish scene, Kai Reesu is a freshly formed psychedelic jazz & hip hop ensemble from Glasgow, Scotland. 

Kai Reesu bring strong instrumentals with lush textures, complex polyrhythms and impressionistic melodies, along with hard hitting grooves and rap-based tracks which span the course of Boom Bap, Conscious Hip Hop and Grime. 
This show sees their collaboration with Los Angeles-come-Leith based rapper Jurnalist expand into new ground, with some new material written together as a group in the studio being played live for the first time. The band will be joined by infamous Tenor saxophone soul growl legend Harry Weir for this one, with more guests To Be Announced!
