With a career spanning over 20 years Meinir Gwilym’s true and honest songs have an ever popular appeal and her live performances always seem to replenish the soul whilst reaching the heart.
When asked to describe her music, Meinir asks that the listener describes it. ‘I’m a singer-songwriter; I just use the inspiration given to me to create. I’m not really a ‘genre’ kind of artist.’
Her latest release, Caneuon Tyn Yr Hendy (2023) was met with much critical acclaim, and seems to have developed a somewhat cult-like following, amongst young and old alike.
