Our very first concert took place on the 23rd November 1974 at St Mary and St Giles, Stony Stratford. Conducted by Hilary Davan Wetton, the main piece was a performance of Britten’s Saint Nicolas. Our 50th birthday concert will be fifty years on - to the day - with the same main piece, the same conductor, in the same venue.
