Saxophonist Nadim Teimoori is a formidable talent, renowned for his virtuosic playing and thoughtful, inventive compositions. As a graduating student he won the prestigious Humphrey Lyttelton Award and since then has been a regular presence on the UK jazz scene. Nadim’s latest ensemble, ‘Hidden Words’ takes its name from The Hidden Words, a cherished work of Nadim’s Bahá’í Faith. The outstanding lineup features top UK players Sam Dunn-guitar, Will Barry-piano, Calum Gourlay-bass and David Ingamells-drums and the programme promises an electrifying blend of original compositions and timeless jazz classics, showcasing a wide spectrum of musical influences.
