Details

In conjunction with the Rising Waters exhibition at Perth Museum, Scottish Beavers are coming to the AK Bell Library to talk about beavers, their contribution to flood mitigation and how we can learn to work together.

We have invited Scottish Beavers to explain how these fascinating creatures build their lodges and dykes. Learn how one of our most elusive animals in Scotland, the beaver, can help with natural flood mitigation if only he was left to do so.

The talk will be accompanied by a walk to the North Inch where we will look for traces of Beaver and learn how to discover beaver activities on our local rivers.

This event is suitable for all ages, please wear appropriate footwear and bring a packed lunch.

This event has been generously supported by the Eric King Chiu Lo Legacy.
