N'calma Collective 16th Anniversary Presents: Soma Soma

N'Calma Collective is back this March 2025 to celebrate their incredible 16th anniversary, and they’re bringing a lineup that’s set to electrify the dancefloor! Expect an unforgettable night of pulsating rhythms, global grooves, and pure energy as Brazilian, Afro, and World music collide in spectacular fashion.

Headlining the night, SOMA SOMA – the 8-piece powerhouse from Bristol – will take you on a sonic journey blending Samba, Bossa Nova, and Highlife with Afrobeat and Soukous. Their hypnotic guitar riffs, pulsating percussion, and soul-stirring horns create an atmosphere that’s both electric and deeply immersive. Whether you're fluent in Portuguese or not, their music transcends language, offering waves of connection, joy, and nostalgia.

Joining them, Kaya M will spin an irresistible mix of rocksteady, ska, and steppers, digging deep into the soulful sounds of the 60s to 90s. As a staple on Kane FM and a key figure in Room in the Sky, she knows exactly how to keep the vibe flowing strong.

And of course, N'Calma's very own Tigas will be bringing his signature vinyl selections, blending Brazilian beats with global gems from Jazz, Samba, Afrobeat, Funk, and beyond. A true crate-digger and culture curator, Tigas will have you moving from start to finish.
