Needle Felting Workshop

Join local artist and tutor Gail for this creative needle felting and embellishment workshop – learn how to turn a bundle of fluffy wool fibres into something beautiful.

Gail will teach you how to turn bundles of colourful, fluffy wool fibres into your own mini textural picture inspired by nature and the Derwent Valley. You will then embellish and add detail to your felted artwork with stitching and beads ready for framing. Alternatively, you can learn how to make a beautiful felted brooch.

There will be photographs and images you can use for inspiration, or you can bring your own – you’re free to create and design your own artwork with guidance from Gail.

The workshop includes a cuppa to enjoy during the session.

After the workshop why not treat yourself to a spot of lunch from our café or go for a little wander in the beautiful lower Derwent Valley from our doorstep.

Your felted creation would make the perfect gift for Mother’s Day (or maybe keep it all to yourself). Why not buy the workshop as a Mother’s Day gift or for a friend or loved one (we can create a gift voucher – please get in touch after booking your ticket).

Gail will have small picture frames to purchase at a small cost (please pay with cash to Gail) if you would like to frame your creation.
