Karapinar, Turkey. In the 21st Century, the discovery of a medieval relic unveils hidden history buried with it. Over a thousand years earlier, a group of increasingly-disillusioned Crusaders have crossed Europe to hunt after the same cross. For both, finding it will come at far too large a price.
Archaeologist Florine is split between the past and present as these two time periods collide suddenly, and she begins to question how faith is manipulated by corrupt figures for political and personal gain.
