Nicki Leighton-Thomas sings Fran Landesman

Crossing the boundaries between jazz, blues and pop, Nicki sings songs from her albums celebrating the lyrics of Fran Landesman and music of Simon Wallace. Legendary lyricist Fran - friend and mentor to Nicki until her death in 2011 - was known for being part of the Beat Generation of 1950's New York and had her songs recorded by Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Barbra Streisand and many others.
