More detail Reading Museum and the MERL have been exploring climate change, sustainability and biodiversity loss through Our Green Stories. Join Reading Museums Angela Houghton to look for urban nature and explore the links between the towns history and impact on the wider world. Following this were hoping to make a self-guided Green Stories walking tour between the museums so this will be a test of our ideas tell us what you think afterwards! Both museums have cafes, shops and toilets.

About the walk leader Angela has a lifelong interest in wildlife and the environment and has been curator of natural history at Reading Museum for 20 years.

The MERL is about a 20 minute walk from Reading station. The nearest bus stop is at the Reading Berkshire Hospital on Craven Road.
