Acclaimed saxophonist, composer, and arranger Paul Booth joins forces with Strictly Smokin Big Band for a unique reinterpretation of the Beach Boys seminal album, Pet Sounds . This project is the result of Booths deep admiration for the 1966 classic. Initially transcribing the entire album note for note, he then set about reimagining it for a full big band, unlocking fresh textures and possibilities while preserving the essence of Brian Wilsons visionary compositions.

With Booth at the helm, this performance breathes new life into Pet Sounds, staying true to the heart of the original while reshaping it for the power and versatility of a big band. Following its premiere at Ronnie Scotts, London, this marks only the second-ever performance of Booths stunning new arrangement.
