Details

‘Be Alive With Me’ is an exhibition of portraits of emotion by Paula Rae Gibson, a photographic tribute to her late husband, British film director Brian Gibson. Featuring 20 unique prints created using Gibson’s signature process – silver gelatin with hand-applied textures in paint, chemicals and chalk – the series charts a deeply personal period of intense love, life, and loss. Curated by Katy Barron, the exhibition will take place at Fitzrovia Chapel from 1-6 October 2024.

To mark the week-long presentation, on 2nd October, Paula Rae Gibson will be in conversation with Martin Barnes, Senior Curator of Photography at the V&A.
