Penrith Players Present TEN THINGS TO DO IN A SMALL CUMBRIAN TOWN and Q&A with writer Hannah Sowerby

Details

Written by award-winning local playwright Hannah Sowerby, this is a modern coming-of-age tale set in Penrith. It deals with the dilemmas of growing up and coming to terms with adulthood and the torn feelings of a young woman between her home town and her future.

The play is full of laughs and moments of recognition which the audience will love.

The original production performed by Hannah herself was reviewed by The Guardian as "delightfully deadpan", and a "tender reflection on the love-hate relationship between personality and place".

The Saturday evening show will be followed by a discussion and Q and A with the writer Hannah Sowerby.
