Pete Roth Trio featuring Bill Bruford

Tonight’s guitar trio features the legendary Bill Bruford on drums.

The trio will be playing some of leader Pete Roth’s original compositions, like Dancing with Grace , some of the Trio’s collaborative works like Trio in Five , their reinterpretation of masterworks like Anton Dvorak’s Largo from Symphony #9, and their own spin on classic jazz standards.

Drummer Bill Bruford was a major force in the British Art Rock movement, touring internationally with Yes and King Crimson and later setting up the major electro-acoustic group Earthworks with Django Bates and Iain Ballamy. It will be fascinating to see him in a club setting with Pete Roth's Trio.
