Phantasmagorey

An exhibition inspired by the work of the great American illustrator and author Edward Gorey (1925-2000) celebrating his centenary. Gorey has been a huge inspiration to illustrators and PHANTASMAGOREY includes works by over forty artists, who have each created their own tribute to his work. They include Steven Appleby, Jill Calder, Jonny Hannah and Jonathan Gibbs. The show includes a timeline about Gorey’s life, and a small display of his books. It’s been organised by illustrator Andrew Baker and animator and artist Linda Hughes, working together as Paper Galaxy.
