Play in a day

Calling all writers, directors and actors ? Take part in our Play in a Day this October! Open to anyone age 18+

You turn up for a welcome at 7.30pm on the Saturday evening. After the welcome there will be some master-classes for you to attend. Before you go for the evening, you will be put into casts with a director and a writer. Then we go off to sleep whilst the writer writes into the night. 9am the next day the writers give in their script. 10am - 6pm Rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal, drink tea, have a fun time, chat with friends, rehearsal! 7pm - 10pm SHOW TIME.

You don't have to have any experience but a joy and desire to make new theatre. The themes will be decided on the night. This is open to anyone who might be interested in exploring new theatre and keen to make contact with people locally. We believe in producing collaborative, theatrical experiences that challenge ​people and ​allows art to be made.

All funds raised will help to cover Slow Theatre Company's core costs.
