Pottering around with the Grandparents

Inspired by the current exhibition ‘I see his blood upon a Rose’ we will use clay to sculpt a beautiful floral plate together. We will use natural flowers, plants and foliage gathered by our artist, Ciara, to create wonderful patterns and textures to decorate your ceramic plate. Your finished masterpiece will be taken away professionally glazed and then fired in the kiln (a special pottery oven). Your masterpiece will be ready to collect from the front desk at the Mac in a few weeks. The workshop will also include a short tour of the Upper gallery.
