Prelude

During the 70’s and 80’s Prelude had hits with their unique acapella version of Neil Young’s After the Goldrush, Brian’s song Platinum Blonde and their version of Roy Orbison’s Only the Lonely. They toured with Ralph McTell and provided the background vocals on his No1 hit, The Streets of London. They also toured with Joan Armatrading, Michael Chapman and Don McClean. Prelude’s set list is a mixture of their own compositions and their favourite songs by the likes of Paul Simon, James Taylor, Neil Young, Steve Earle etc.
