Quiltmaking with Ciara Callaghan

Join artist Ciara Callaghan for a series of slow crafting evenings this Autumn learning the heritage skill of quilt making. Over these sessions you will be exploring traditional hand skills, textiles and design, this will result in a small quilt or wall hanging to take home.

Drawing on inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Great Linford Manor Park, the textiles themselves and personal memories and tastes, each participant will be invited to develop designs to create meaningful works of art.

You will gain experience in skills such as appliqué, patchwork, quilting and finishing.
