Reaction Fest: Sharknado feat. Lindsay Nicholson, Mama Rhi & Script competition winner

Thanks to some generous support from The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Alphabetti Theatre have been able to commission two artists and run one writing competition – each team have been given a mentor and have worked to the stimulus of Sharknado.

This ridiculous, so terrible it’s amazing film became an instant cult classic due to its outrageous premise of tornadoes filled with sharks, blending humour and absurdity. Its low-budget special effects, over-the-top action, and self-aware campiness attract fans who appreciate its intentional ridiculousness, turning it into a beloved piece of modern pop culture.
