Resonance Fundraiser - Jowe Head

Resonance (London Musicians’ Collective Limited) is a ground-breaking, independent, volunteer-run Community Radio station and registered charity (290236) dedicated to the Arts & Culture. Based in Southwark, London, SE1 and licensed by Ofcom, Resonance is accessible via FM and DAB in Greater London and online worldwide at resonancefm.com/listen.

Our mission is to discover, encourage and support a diverse range of community voices through radio - by enabling under-represented members of society to engage with our creative broadcasting and in doing so engage directly with our estimated audience of 1.8 million listeners.

We operate and make accessible the infrastructure for a broadcast platform that is free for users to engage with and through which as many people as possible can exercise “the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community” (Article 27, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights).

More than 200 volunteer broadcasters contribute to our programming, which is entirely ad-free and realised by an evolving pool of 30+ volunteer broadcast engineers, many of whom work, or have since gone on to work, in the audio sector. Resonance is currently fund-raising to stay afloat and ultimately equip their new broadcast studio close to Waterloo and London Bridge. 100% of the proceeds to Resonance.
