RGS History Walk

As we approach the Quincentenary year of the Royal Grammar School, please join us for a journey in to the past as we visit the six historic sites of the RGS around the City of Newcastle culminating in a private visit to the Tyne & Wear Archives at the 'Discovery Museum' to see the 1600 Royal Charter of the School.

David Goldwater (Old Novo 51-62) will be your personal guide as you step back 500 years to the very beginning of the RGS and walk ​through to 2024.

The walk will begin and end at RGS, Eskdale Terrace, where on our return afternoon tea will also be served.
