Join West End star Amonik Melaco for a day at RGS exploring Commercial Breakdance. Aimed at intermediate performers this session is designed to develop your commercial breakdance techniques and movements whilst making new friends and more importantly having fun! Amonik brings a wealth of experience from top shows like Singing in the Rain, A Song for Ela Grey, Mamma Mia and this really is amazing opportunity for any aspiring dancer!
Each day will begin with a warm up session followed by a creative task. Just before lunch the group will begin to learn a performance piece that will be ready to showcase at 4pm on stage to parents and guardians.
This session is aimed at students aged 11 - 16 years old.
Kit: Please wear t-shirt, leggings, shorts. Anything comfortable and that you can move around in easily but ensure you wear layers for cooler points in the day.
Food & Drink: Please ensure you bring a water bottle, a morning and afternoon snack and a packed lunch. We operate a no nuts policy on site.
