Join West End star Amonik Melaco for a day at RGS exploring Jazz/Lyrical dance. Aimed at intermediate performers this session is designed to develop your techniques and movements whilst making new friends and more importantly having fun! Amonik brings a wealth of experience from top shows like Singing in the Rain, A Song for Ela Grey, Mamma Mia and this really is amazing opportunity for any aspiring dancer!
Each day will begin with a warm up session followed by a creative task. Just before lunch the group will begin to learn a performance piece that will be ready to showcase at 4pm on stage to parents and guardians.
This session is aimed at students aged 11 -16 years old.
Kit: Please wear t-shirt, leggings, shorts. Anything comfortable and that you can move around in easily but ensure you wear layers for cooler points in the day.
Food & Drink: Please ensure you bring a water bottle, a morning and afternoon snack and a packed lunch. We operate a NO NUTS policy on site.
