In a village in the heart of England, something ancient has been disturbed… A group of friends discover a connection to a past they never knew existed as they battle to save their home and each other. With the bulldozers closing in, and the anger of the forest lashing out, the young people must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to protect the people they love. A dark comedy co-created by Zoo Co’s Young Company and acclaimed artist Liv Ello. Rooted explores what happens when we lose our connection to nature, and find there’s more guarding the forest than just the trees.
