RSNO plays Mendelssohn

In our special lunchtime concert, join presenter Gillian Moore as she introduces young and old alike to the wonders of classical music with Scotland’s National Orchestra. Felix Mendelssohn was only 20 years old when he visited Scotland – but he was old enough to fall in love with our landscape, culture and history. His Scottish Symphony has been a favourite ever since: a vision of Highland mists and warring clans, reimagined in glorious melodies. Presenter Gillian Moore re-tells its story and introduces this live performance by Scotland’s National Orchestra with conductor Kellen Gray.
