Scott's Jazz Club Presents: Jozef Dani Trio

For our first concert of 2025 we’re thrilled to start the year with a bang! Jozef Dani is a world class Slovak jazz pianist living in Belfast. Having devoted himself to music as a child he has toured extensively in Europe and recorded with the likes of Eugene Vizvary (Aron Hodek, David Hodek, Poogie Bell). Jozef formed his new trio in 2024 in with swinging Belfast rhythm section, Ben Flavelle-Cobain (Bass) and Eamon Ferris (drums). The trio made their live debut in 2024, and we can expect a set of thrilling original compositions showcasing fiery improvisation, groove and taste. Jozef will be joined by Ben Flavelle-Cobain on bass; whoss life has been a tapestry of experiences with exceptional musicians and songwriters, and drummer Eamonn Ferris who has played with Van Morrison, the Waterboys, and Sinead O’Connor.
