Sing a Song - A Tribute to the Carpenters

Kerry Burley and Rob Gallagher present ‘Sing a Song: A Tribute to The Carpenters,’ Scotland's ONLY tribute to the iconic 70s musical duo.

This 100 minute (2 x 50 minute set) show celebrates all the hits of Karen and Richard - with a few surprises along the way - including a homage to Karen’s famous drumming skills. Set one is laid back and relaxing, and set two brings more upbeat hits and some 60s covers included on the Oldies Medley from The Carpenters’ best-selling Now and Then album to get audiences on their feet.

Kerry's silky, sound-a-like vocals and Rob's piano and backing vocals are enhanced in theatres by a full band who help to recreate the unique sound of the Carpenters’ live shows, taking audiences back with the ‘songs they loved so well’ - and of course with vintage 70s costumes - it really is Yesterday Once More!

Hits including We've Only Just Begun, (They Long To Be) Close To You, Please Mr. Postman and Top Of The World are interwoven with facts and trivia about the duo and some of stories behind the music, making this show a must-see not only for Carpenters fans but for music lovers everywhere!
