Sound Waves 5 - Donny Brook

Sound Waves 5 is a collaboration night with many bands and DJS till late from Surf Sheffield, Music Culture Society and APS with all proceeds going to charity. Funk Rock Legends Donny Brook Headline the bands celebrating the release of their second EP. Renowned for their energetic live performances with a huge variety of indie/funk psychedelic rock they return to Sheffield after their Leadmill headline in February. Main support is local Rock'n'Rollers, the Turncoats with their eclectic concoction of punk, folk and mix of classic 60s and 70s rock, always put on a good show. Agropaco are a psychedelic jazz/funk band who emerged in the last year with a unique mix of world music inspired by the likes of Khruangbin and Arc De Soleil are not ones to miss. Starting the night is sheffield based jazz/funk group Khamra, inspired by the likes of Ezra Collective, making groovy beats always get people dancing. DJs will be playing a huge variety from disco/funk, acid house, broken beat, jungle and bassline. DJs will continue the party until 3am to keep the sound waves flowing and keep you dancing!
