Special Sunday – Victorian Gardeners Organised by the Friends of Valentines Mansion

Come and celebrate the gardens and park with us! with free drop-in floristry workshops throughout the day as well as fun and interesting garden trails! As part of this Special Sunday, we will be joined by garden historian Francesca Murray, who will be getting under the muddy fingernails of the celebrated writer on gardens and expert vegetable and fruit grower William Earley (1835-1911), Valentine's head gardener during Sarah and Clement Ingleby's ownership of what we know today as Valentine's Park. Francesca will host two free talks (12.15 pm and 3 pm), booking is advised to reserve your place.
